Pricing figures updated 6 September 2026: USD prices are converted at the current rate (1 USD ≈ 1.40 AUD, verified 5 September 2026) and shown ex-GST, replacing the retired 1.55 + GST basis. A GST-registered Australian business that supplies its ABN is not charged GST on an imported digital service; other buyers should allow ~10% on top (Methodology).

Verdict (TL;DR): Unify is the most accessible and transparent AI outbound platform in this review group. It publishes its pricing, offers a free tier, and has a $20/seat/month base plan that lets small teams test AI-assisted prospecting before committing to anything large. The agentic chat interface — where you describe your target and the agent builds lists and sequences — is genuinely good. The compliance caveat applies as with any AI outbound tool: cold emailing Australians at scale without consent is a Spam Act 2003 problem. But Unify's design puts more human control back in the loop, which is a meaningful difference.

What Unify is

Unify is a San Francisco-based go-to-market (GTM) platform founded in 2023. It is not a pure AI SDR that autonomously sends emails — it is better described as an AI-native outbound intelligence and execution platform. Reps use a chat interface to instruct an AI agent to find prospects, research accounts, and write personalised sequences. The rep reviews and approves before sequences send.

This architecture is a deliberate design choice. Unify is built on the premise that AI should dramatically accelerate the seller — not wholesale replace the human judgment about who gets contacted and how. The company calls this "warm outbound": outreach grounded in intent signals, personalised at scale, rather than cold spray-and-pray.

Unify claims to have powered more than USD $786 million in pipeline for customers including Perplexity, Spellbook, and Campfire.

What it costs in Australia

Unify publishes its pricing publicly — a strong differentiator in this category. All figures confirmed from unifygtm.com/pricing as at June 2026:

Plan USD/month AUD/month (~1.40x) Credits/seat/month
Free $0 $0 100
Base $20/seat ~AUD $28/seat 800
Pro $60/seat ~AUD $84/seat 2,400
Business Custom (annual) Custom Custom pool

Credit consumption (primary source, unifygtm.com/pricing): - Email enrichment: averages 1 credit per record (up to 10 in rare cases) - Phone enrichment: averages 4 credits per record (up to 20 in rare cases) - Signals vary: 1 credit for web intent/technographics; higher for complex or niche runs - LLM usage billed as credits (AI costs passed through at cost)

Additional costs: - Managed Gmail/Outlook mailboxes (Business plan only): USD $25/mailbox/month (~AUD $35.00/mailbox/month) [primary source] - Credit top-ups available on Base and above; unused credits carry forward up to 12 months

Conversion note: USD converted at approximately AUD 1.40. GST treatment not confirmed by Unify — Australian buyers should clarify. 10% GST likely applies as a B2B digital import.

The Pro plan at ~AUD $93/seat/month is highly competitive. A team of 3 reps pays approximately AUD $279/month (before GST and credit top-ups) — a fraction of what 11x or Artisan charge. The Business plan for larger teams with automation and managed deliverability is custom-priced.

A 14-day free trial is available for Pro. Free tier is available without time limit.

How it works in practice

Unify's interface is chat-first. You open a conversation with the AI agent and describe what you need:

  • "Find 10 top-rated catering companies in Sydney and their owners"
  • "Build a list of 100 people at VC-backed B2B SaaS companies hiring for SDRs"
  • "Write personalised emails to the CEOs of [company list] based on their recent LinkedIn posts"

The agent draws on Unify's database of 1.1 billion people and 65 million companies, plus 40+ external data sources, to execute the request. It surfaces a list, enriches contact details, and drafts personalised email or LinkedIn messages. The rep reviews before anything sends.

Beyond chat, Unify offers Plays — automated sequences triggered by signals. When a target company posts a new hire in your prospect's department, hires a VP of Sales, or visits your website, a Play can automatically queue them for outreach, research their profile, draft a personalised message, and await approval.

The platform includes email sequencing natively, with multi-channel support (email, LinkedIn, call tasks). On the Business plan, Unify manages Gmail and Outlook mailboxes including warmup and rotation to protect sender reputation.

CRM integration: HubSpot and Salesforce are supported, with read-only access on Pro and full read-write on Business.

What it does well

Transparent pricing with a real free tier. No other AI outbound platform in this category offers a workable free tier. Unify's 100 credits/month free plan lets a team verify the data quality for their target market before spending a cent.

Chat-first agent interface is intuitive. Describing what you want in natural language and having the platform build lists and drafts is far easier to learn than configuring complex workflow tools. Non-technical sales reps can get productive quickly.

Human stays in the loop. Unlike autonomous AI SDRs that fire emails without rep review, Unify's default workflow keeps a human in control of what gets sent. This is better for output quality and materially better for compliance.

Signals-based warm outbound. Targeting prospects based on actual buying signals — job changes, funding rounds, website visits, tech stack changes — produces more relevant outreach than cold list-blasting. This is Unify's core positioning and it works.

Consolidates multiple tools. Teams running separate prospecting databases, sequencers, and personalisation tools can consolidate into Unify. The company's own data shows users saving 2+ hours per rep per day.

SOC 2 Type II compliant. Security certifications matter for enterprise buyers. Unify has done the compliance work here.

What it doesn't do well

Credit consumption can be unpredictable. Agentic workflows that layer multiple signals, news lookups, and deep research consume credits quickly. On a 2,400-credit/seat/month Pro plan, heavy research use can exhaust credits faster than expected. The Business plan's custom pool is more flexible but requires a sales conversation.

Australian contact coverage unconfirmed. Unify's 1.1 billion contact database is weighted toward North American and European markets. Australian contact data — particularly for SMBs, regional businesses, and professionals outside major cities — may be thinner. Test your specific target audience before committing.

Managed deliverability requires Business plan. Mailbox warmup, rotation, and reputation management are only available at the custom Business tier. Pro plan users manage their own email infrastructure, which adds complexity for teams without deliverability experience.

LinkedIn automation carries platform risk. Unify supports LinkedIn messaging as part of its sequencing. LinkedIn prohibits automated messaging via third-party tools in its User Agreement. Australian users relying on LinkedIn outreach via Unify risk account restrictions. This is a platform-level risk, not specific to Unify, but worth flagging.

No phone dialler on lower plans. The dialler is in beta and only available on Business. Email and LinkedIn are the primary outbound channels for most Unify users.

Australian fit: Spam Act and Privacy Act exposure

Unify's design — human review before send — puts it in a better compliance position than fully autonomous AI SDRs. But the underlying risk remains.

Spam Act 2003 (Cth): Cold outbound email to Australian recipients requires prior consent, accurate sender identification, and a functional unsubscribe mechanism. "Warm outbound" in the Unify sense — targeting people who have shown a buying signal — does not automatically constitute consent under Australian law. Visiting a website, for instance, does not mean the visitor has consented to receiving commercial email.

Unify's value proposition is that its outreach is more targeted and personalised, which may reduce the volume of cold outreach needed. But the legal standard is consent, not relevance.

Privacy Act 1988 (Cth): Unify processes personal data — names, emails, job titles, behavioural signals — on US servers. For Australian businesses handling the personal information of Australian individuals through Unify, the Australian Privacy Principles apply. The current small-business exemption (under $3M turnover) provides some protection for sole traders, but that exemption is under active legislative review.

Our position: Unify's human-in-the-loop design reduces the volume of automated emails sent without judgment, which is a genuine risk reduction. It does not eliminate the Spam Act obligation to obtain consent. Treat Unify's prospecting data as a research tool, not a licence to email everyone it surfaces.

Alternatives

Apollo.io — Direct competitor with a similarly transparent pricing model, slightly older product, and a very large contact database. Apollo is better known in the AU market and has more community resources. Reviewed.

Clay — For teams that want maximum flexibility in building prospecting workflows. More setup required than Unify, but more customisable. Better suited to RevOps-led teams than individual reps. Reviewed.

Warmly — Focuses on website visitor identification and warm outbound triggered by real-time site intent. Narrower use case than Unify but strong at its specific job. Reviewed.

Bottom line

Unify is the standout choice in this review group for Australian teams considering AI-assisted outbound. The published pricing, free tier, and human-in-the-loop design make it the most accessible, lowest-risk starting point. The Pro plan at ~AUD $93/seat/month is competitive enough that a two-person sales team can test it without a significant budget commitment.

The Spam Act compliance obligation does not go away — no AI outbound tool makes Australian cold email legal by default. But Unify's architecture at least keeps your team in control of what gets sent and to whom.

For early-stage teams or those new to AI-assisted outbound, start with the free tier, validate that the contact data quality works for your AU target market, then consider the Pro plan.

Update history
  • 9 Oct 2026 — Re-checked for the AUD-claim queue (#473), unifygtm.com/pricing read on an Australian connection: Free US$0, Base US$20 and Pro US$60 per seat a month (billed monthly; 800 and 2,400 credits a seat; 14-day Pro trial) stand, with a bare $ and no AUD, so aud_native: false stands. Frequently asked questions

How much does Unify cost in Australia?

Unify publishes its pricing: Free ($0, 100 credits/seat/month), Base ($20/seat/month USD — approximately AUD $31/seat/month), and Pro ($60/seat/month USD — approximately AUD $93/seat/month). A Business plan is custom-priced on annual terms. A 14-day free trial of Pro is available. USD pricing converted at approximately AUD 1.40; shown ex-GST (a GST-registered business quoting its ABN is not charged GST on an imported digital service; other buyers add ~10%).

Is Unify compliant with Australian spam laws?

Unify does not guarantee Spam Act 2003 compliance for Australian outbound campaigns. The Act requires prior consent, accurate sender identification, and a working unsubscribe mechanism for any commercial email sent to Australian recipients. Unify's human-in-the-loop design means a rep reviews sequences before sending, which reduces the risk of runaway automated spam — but the legal obligation for consent remains with the buyer.

How does Unify differ from 11x or Artisan?

11x and Artisan are autonomous AI SDRs that send emails without rep review. Unify keeps a human in the loop — reps describe what they want via a chat interface, review AI-generated lists and emails, and approve before anything sends. Unify also publishes its pricing and offers a free tier, unlike 11x and Artisan which require sales conversations for custom quotes.
