The gate: Five stars need 21+ and Australian Fit of at least 4/5.
Skip to the verdictPricing figures updated 6 September 2026: USD prices are converted at the current rate (1 USD ≈ 1.40 AUD, verified 5 September 2026) and shown ex-GST, replacing the retired 1.55 + GST basis. A GST-registered Australian business that supplies its ABN is not charged GST on an imported digital service; other buyers should allow ~10% on top (Methodology).

Verdict (TL;DR): Regie.ai has built something technically impressive — autonomous AI agents that research prospects, write personalised outreach, dial, leave voicemails, and update your CRM without a human SDR doing the work. The vision is credible. The price tag is not realistic for most Australian businesses, the data sits offshore, and the Australian Spam Act 2003 places compliance obligations on you that the platform cannot manage. A tool for well-resourced enterprise sales teams, not the Australian mainstream.

What Regie.ai is
Regie.ai is an AI-powered sales engagement platform built around the idea of the autonomous SDR. Rather than giving a human sales development representative a tool to send better emails, Regie's agents are designed to handle the full prospecting workflow: identify target accounts, find and enrich contact data from a 220M+ contact database, research each prospect, write personalised outbound messages, send emails, make calls, drop voicemails, and update the CRM — without requiring a human at every step.
The company was founded in San Francisco in 2020 and has raised approximately USD $50.8M. It rebranded its core offering as RegieOne in 2025 — a single platform combining an AI sales engagement platform (AI SEP), prospecting data, parallel dialler, and intent detection.
The target buyer is a VP of Sales or Head of RevOps at a US or global mid-market company looking to reduce SDR headcount costs while maintaining or increasing outbound pipeline.
What it costs in Australia
Regie.ai does not offer AUD billing; pricing is in USD. Since this review was written it has launched self-serve plans (RegieGO, read on regie.ai/pricing on 1 October 2026): a free plan with 250 one-time credits per person, Pro at US$49 a month (US$41 billed annually) with 5,000 credits, Team at US$150 a seat a month (US$125 annually, two-seat minimum) with 15,000 credits a seat, and Enterprise by quote. The figures below are the enterprise packages this review assessed in June; they are kept as a dated record.
Based on Regie.ai's published pricing page and third-party buyer benchmarks:
| Plan | USD/user/month (annual) | Min. seats | Min. annual cost (USD) | Approx. AUD (×1.40) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AI SEP | USD $180 | 10 seats | ~USD $21,600 | ~AUD $30,240 |
| Force Multiplier Rep | USD $499 | 5 seats | ~USD $29,940 | ~AUD $41,916 |
Third-party buyer data (Vendr) suggests the median buyer pays approximately USD $51,532/year (~AUD $72,145). Real-world contracts at enterprise scale can exceed USD $100,000/year (~AUD $140,000).
The AI SEP plan (USD $180/user/month, 10-seat minimum) includes: static and dynamic sequencing agents, intent prioritisation, power dialler, AI messaging with call coaching, social outreach automation, and CRM/SEP integration.
The Force Multiplier Rep plan (USD $499/user/month, 5-seat minimum) adds: fully autonomous prospecting agents, parallel dialler (up to 9 simultaneous lines), dedicated research agents, 1,000 account and 4,000 contact enrichment credits per year, and provisioned mailboxes with domains.
GST treatment: As a foreign digital service provider, Regie.ai is required to register and remit GST on supplies to Australian consumers. Whether this is itemised on invoices should be confirmed before signing a contract.
How it works in practice
RegieOne's core workflow is built around what Regie calls the Auto-Pilot agent:
- Account and contact discovery: You define your ideal customer profile (ICP). The agents search Regie's built-in 220M+ contact database, surfacing accounts that match and enriching contacts with verified emails, phone numbers, and job data.
- Intent detection: The platform monitors buying signals — job postings, funding announcements, technology changes, web behaviour — to prioritise which accounts are most likely to convert now.
- Personalised outreach generation: Research agents pull from LinkedIn profiles, company news, recent blog posts, podcast appearances, and job postings to generate personalised email openers and full messages. The platform claims what used to take an SDR 15–20 minutes per prospect now takes 2–3 minutes.
- Autonomous execution: The Auto-Pilot tier sends emails, makes calls, drops voicemails, and triggers follow-ups on schedule. The Force Multiplier tier goes further: agents operate largely independently, handling the full top-of-funnel sequence without manual triggering at each step.
- CRM updates: All activity is logged automatically to Salesforce or HubSpot, reducing the CRM admin burden on reps.
The parallel dialler connects up to 9 lines simultaneously, transferring live answers to a human rep. This is a meaningful productivity tool for teams doing outbound calls at volume.
Regie rates 4.4/5 on G2 from 322+ reviews as of 2026.
What it does well
Autonomous prospecting is technically real, not just marketing. The Auto-Pilot agents do genuinely reduce the human effort involved in building and running outbound campaigns. For teams that have previously relied on human SDRs to research and personalise at scale, the time savings are meaningful.
The contact database reduces tool sprawl. Regie's built-in 220M+ contact database, including verified mobile numbers, means teams do not necessarily need a separate ZoomInfo or Apollo subscription. For high-volume outbound, this consolidation matters.
Intent-driven prioritisation is the smarter approach to prospecting. Rather than working through a static list, Regie surfaces accounts showing active buying signals. Timing outreach to moments of genuine intent improves conversion rates.
Parallel dialling is a genuine productivity multiplier. Nine simultaneous dials collapsing to one live conversation is a significant throughput improvement for teams doing significant call volume.
AI-generated personalisation at the Force Multiplier tier is genuinely broad. Pulling from LinkedIn, company news, podcast appearances, and job postings goes beyond what most simpler AI writing tools attempt.
What it doesn't do well
The enterprise packages are priced for enterprise. In June the entry commitment was roughly AUD $30,000–42,000 a year for 5–10 seats before GST; the self-serve Pro plan (US$49 a month) added since then is the realistic way in for a small team. The real-world median spend of AUD $80,000+/year is in territory that most Australian SMBs, and even many scale-ups, cannot justify for outbound prospecting software alone.
AI-generated content still sounds robotic. This is the most consistent criticism across user reviews. Despite the breadth of personalisation sources, the final AI-generated emails frequently lack the natural, human tone that makes cold outreach work. Multiple reviews describe needing to heavily edit output before sending. The platform is most valuable when teams treat AI drafts as starting points, not finished messages.
No self-serve access or free trial. You cannot test Regie before committing to an annual contract. For a tool this expensive, that is a meaningful barrier.
US market optimisation. Regie's contact database, intent signals, and AI training are US-weighted. Coverage and data quality for Australian contacts is (unconfirmed) — confirm with Regie's sales team what percentage of their 220M+ database covers Australian businesses, and ask for a data quality sample before committing.
Platform is complex to configure. The autonomous agents require ICP definition, sequencing rules, persona calibration, and CRM integration — all before a single email goes out. This is not a tool you launch in a week.
Australian fit: Spam Act 2003 and what Regie cannot do for you
This section is essential reading before you buy.
Regie.ai's whole pitch is autonomous AI agents sending outreach on your behalf — without human review of every message. In Australia, that creates specific compliance obligations under the Spam Act 2003 that are entirely your responsibility, not Regie's.
What the Spam Act requires for every commercial electronic message sent to Australian recipients:
- Consent: Every recipient must have either express consent or inferred consent. For B2B cold email, inferred consent applies when a business person has publicly published their contact details in a context that implies openness to business email (company website, LinkedIn, industry directory). Importantly, the content must be relevant to the role or context in which they published the address.
- Identification: Every message must clearly identify the sender and the organisation on whose behalf it is sent.
- Functional unsubscribe: Every message must contain a working unsubscribe mechanism, active for at least 30 days after sending. Unsubscribe requests must be honoured within 5 business days.
- No deceptive subject lines. The subject must not mislead the recipient.
The autonomous agent problem: When AI agents send messages at volume without human review of each one, the risk of a non-compliant message — wrong identification, broken unsubscribe link, no consent basis — multiplies. You cannot review 200 AI-generated emails individually without defeating the purpose of the platform.
What this means practically:
- Configure every sequence to include unsubscribe links. This is a Regie setting — ensure it is enabled.
- Do not instruct Regie's agents to contact anyone without a defensible consent basis. Regie's database contains international contact data; do not assume Australian contacts were sourced with Australian Spam Act compliance in mind.
- Maintain consent records. The ACMA places the burden of proof on the sender.
- The ACMA can impose fines of up to AUD $11 million per day for serious or repeated breaches.
Data residency: Regie.ai is a US company. Based on Regie's published privacy policy, data is processed on US infrastructure. No Australian data residency commitment is published. Contact data, prospect research, CRM sync records, and call recordings are all processed offshore. Australian organisations with data sovereignty obligations should treat this as a disqualifier without written contractual assurances.
No AUD billing, no Australian support confirmed. Regie is a US-focused platform. Australian customers are not a named segment in published product or support documentation.
Alternatives
For Australian businesses looking at Regie's category but not the price:
- Apollo.io: The most accessible combination of contact database, AI email writing, and sequencing. Self-serve, free tier available, and far lower cost than Regie. Less autonomous, but more accessible and better suited to the Australian market.
- Outreach: A more established sales engagement platform with enterprise credibility and APAC presence. Less focused on fully autonomous agents but stronger on CRM depth and sales team management.
- Instantly: For teams that want AI-assisted email sequences at volume with a fraction of the cost. No autonomous dialling, but a flat monthly fee and genuine deliverability focus.
Bottom line
Regie.ai is building toward a real vision: AI agents that handle the full top-of-funnel prospecting workflow so human salespeople can focus on live conversations and closing. The technology is more mature than it was 18 months ago.
The problem for Australian buyers is layered. The price is enterprise-level. The minimum commitment is high. The contact data quality for Australia is unverified. Data sits offshore. And the autonomous-email model requires you to build a robust Spam Act compliance framework before you turn the agents loose — which adds cost and complexity that the vendor cannot handle for you.
If you are running a well-resourced Australian enterprise sales team, doing significant outbound volume to a US or global market, and have the RevOps resource to configure and supervise the platform: Regie is worth evaluating. Ask for an Australian contact data quality sample, get data residency commitments in writing, and budget for compliance overhead.
For everyone else, start with Apollo.io or Instantly and revisit Regie in 2027 once AU data quality and pricing are clearer.

Update history
- 1 Oct 2026 — Regie.ai has launched self-serve pricing (read on regie.ai/pricing from Australia). Was: enterprise-only, annual contracts, AI SEP at US$180 a seat (10-seat minimum) and Force Multiplier Rep at US$499 a seat (5-seat minimum); no free trial. Now: a free plan, Pro at US$49 a month (US$41 billed annually) and Team at US$150 a seat (US$125 annually, two-seat minimum), with Enterprise by quote. The pricing section, the price con, the Value for Money note and the pricing FAQ are updated; the rest of this review still describes the June enterprise product, and a full re-review is scheduled. Archived copy.
- 21 Sep 2026 — The grossed-up AUD column removed from the pricing table. The table carried a second Australian column adding 10% GST to every converted figure, so each plan had two Australian prices and the higher one asserted a tax most of our readers do not pay: under the ATO rule our GST treatment rests on, a GST-registered Australian business that supplies its ABN is not charged GST on an imported digital service. Nothing was re-cut — the ex-GST column is unchanged and is the price. Removed, and kept visible here per our price-history rule: the column headed "Approx. AUD if GST charged (+10%)" (AI SEP ~AUD $33,264; Force Multiplier Rep ~AUD $46,108). The GST position is stated in words once in the note above the pricing table. No USD price moved and no score changed.

Frequently asked questions
Is Regie.ai available in Australia?
Regie.ai is available to Australian businesses, but it is a US-headquartered company with no Australian data residency commitment, USD-only billing, and no confirmed Australian support team. The quality and coverage of Regie's 220M+ contact database for Australian businesses is unverified — confirm this directly with Regie's sales team before committing to a contract.
How much does Regie.ai cost in Australian dollars?
Regie.ai now sells self-serve plans: free, Pro at USD $49 a month (USD $41 billed annually) and Team at USD $150 a seat a month (USD $125 annually, two-seat minimum), checked 1 October 2026. In June the only options were enterprise packages: AI SEP at USD $180/user/month with a 10-seat minimum (about AUD $30,240/year) and Force Multiplier Rep at USD $499/user/month with a 5-seat minimum (about AUD $41,900/year). All contracts are annual only. Third-party buyer data suggests the median customer spends approximately AUD $80,000/year. GST applies as a foreign digital service to Australian consumers.
Does Regie.ai comply with Australia's Spam Act 2003?
Regie.ai is a platform tool — compliance with Australia's Spam Act 2003 is the buyer's responsibility, not Regie's. Every commercial electronic message sent to Australian recipients must have consent (express or inferred), clearly identify the sender, and include a working unsubscribe mechanism. When autonomous AI agents send emails at scale, the risk of a non-compliant message increases. Configure all Regie sequences to include unsubscribe links and ensure you have a defensible consent basis for every Australian contact before deploying autonomous outreach.
