The verdict: RiTA is a genuinely useful AI prospecting assistant for Australian real estate agents — it works your CRM in small daily batches, scores your contacts, builds call lists, and runs two-way SMS to flag warm leads. It is built for the AU/NZ market and plugs into the local CRMs agents already use. But you cannot see a price without ringing sales, and Cotality does not confirm where RiTA's data is stored. If you run a busy sales database and want it worked harder, it is worth a quote. Just go in knowing the SMS compliance risk sits with you. Score: 15/25 — Good.

RiTA is an AI prospecting tool for real estate agents, made by Cotality — the company you knew until recently as CoreLogic, which rebranded as Cotality in March 2025. Source It is the business behind RP Data. It is not a general AI assistant. It does one job: connect to your agency's CRM and work your contact database so leads do not go cold. It cleans your data, scores it, builds a daily call list, and will even text contacts on your behalf. The pitch is simple. You already have hundreds of contacts sitting idle. RiTA chases them so you do not have to.

That focus is the strength and the catch. Used well, it turns a neglected database into a steady stream of appraisal and buyer leads. Used on a thin or messy CRM, it has little to work with. Below is what it does, where it falls short, and whether it earns a place in an Australian agency.

What it does well

It works your database in small daily batches. Rather than dumping a giant list on you, RiTA surfaces a manageable set of contacts each day. That makes prospecting a habit, not a once-a-quarter panic.

It scores and cleans your CRM. RiTA connects to your existing CRM and uses AI to clean and score your contact data on characteristics like engagement and data accuracy. Source For most agencies, the CRM is a graveyard of half-finished records. Getting it scored and tidied is worth something on its own.

It builds intelligent call lists. RiTA generates daily call lists by analysing CRM data and market activity — for example, a property recently listed or sold near one of your contacts. Source That market signal is its edge: it is fed by Cotality's property data, drawn from the company behind RP Data.

It runs two-way SMS for you. This is the headline feature. RiTA holds personalised, two-way SMS conversations on your behalf to generate appraisal, buyer, investor, and landlord leads, then flags the warmest replies for you to call. Source The agent makes the human call; RiTA does the cold-start legwork.

It plugs into the CRMs you already use. The vendor lists integrations with Rex Software, Agentbox, VaultRE, ReNet, Box+Dice, Eagle Software, and Inhabit. Source An October 2025 press release added LockedOn, with data pushed back into LockedOn's database. Source For an Australian agency, that local CRM coverage matters — you are not being asked to rip out your system.

There is a mobile app. RiTA Mobile is on the App Store and Google Play (Android package au.com.corelogic.ritamobile) so you can prospect between inspections. It needs an active RiTA subscription. App Store · Google Play

Watch out for

No public pricing. This is the big one. The product page shows no plans and no prices — only a sales line, 1300 734 318. Source Cost is sales-led: you ring and get a quote. You cannot self-serve, you cannot compare against a rival on price, and you cannot budget without a sales conversation. For a tool aimed at small and mid-size agencies, that is a real friction.

The SMS compliance risk is yours, not Cotality's. Sending automated SMS at scale in Australia triggers consent and compliance obligations under the Spam Act 2003. Source RiTA automates the sending, but the legal duty to have consent sits with you, the agent. The product page does not address this. Treat it as a serious operational responsibility, not a footnote — get advice on your consent and unsubscribe handling before you let it loose on your list. (RiTA does not replace qualified legal or compliance advice.)

It is only as good as your CRM. RiTA assists; it does not conjure leads from nothing. If your database is small, stale, or poorly tagged, you will get less out of it. The value is tied to having a populated, active sales database — and to you actually acting on the leads it surfaces.

The AI detail is thin. Cotality describes the outcomes — scoring, conversation, timing — but the product page does not publish which models power RiTA, or how the two-way SMS is generated and guard-railed. Source Whether RiTA uses an in-house or third-party language model, and how those automated conversations are kept on-track, is not stated. For a tool texting your clients in your name, that is worth asking sales about directly.

Data residency is unclear. See the Australian fit section — this is unresolved and matters.

Pricing

Plan Price (AUD) Notes
RiTA subscription (all plans) Not publicly disclosed — sales-led No pricing shown on the vendor page; quote via 1300 734 318

There is no published figure to assess — the product page shows no plans, prices, or GST treatment, only a sales line. Source Cotality sells RiTA through an Australian sales line, so quotes are expected in AUD, but no price is verified and no GST treatment is stated. When you get a quote, ask for the price ex-GST and ex-GST in writing, and confirm the contract term. Budget GST on top until the tax invoice says otherwise.

Australian fit

This is the criterion that matters most to us, and RiTA is a mixed bag.

On the plus side, it is built for here. RiTA is an Australian-made product, sold into the AU/NZ market, with an Australian support page and sales line (1300 734 318). Its CRM integrations are the local platforms — Rex, Agentbox, VaultRE, Box+Dice and others — not US systems shoehorned in. It is fed by Cotality's Australian property data. For local relevance, that is about as good as it gets.

The gaps are price transparency and data residency. There is no published AUD price, so an Australian buyer cannot compare or budget without a sales call. And data residency is not pinned down. No RiTA-specific hosting-location statement appears on the AU product page. Cotality's privacy policy — which lists "RiTA Mobile" among the apps it covers — does say the company may share or store personal information with third-party service providers located overseas, naming the USA among current locations, and may share it with group companies in the USA, India, Canada and England. Source That is a group-wide policy, not a RiTA-specific guarantee of where your contact data lives. If your agency handles client data under the Privacy Act and cares where it sits, ask Cotality for a written statement on RiTA's hosting location before you sign.

Scoring

Criterion Score Reason
Value for Money 2/5 No public pricing at all — sales-led only, so you cannot compare or budget without a quote.
Ease of Use 3/5 Small daily batches and ready-made call lists lower the effort, but value hinges on a clean, populated CRM.
Feature Depth 4/5 Real depth — CRM scoring, market-aware call lists, two-way SMS, mobile app, and broad local CRM integrations.
Australian Fit 3/5 AU-made, AU sales and support, local CRM integrations — but no published AUD price and unconfirmed data residency.
Reliability & Support 3/5 Backed by an established AU property-data provider (the business behind RP Data) with AU support; but thin public detail on the AI itself.

Total: 15/25 — ⭐⭐⭐ Good
