Key facts from Janitor AI's privacy policy (December 2025): - Chat logs are temporarily stored for memory and AI improvement purposes. - The company does not sell personal data under CCPA/CPRA definitions. - When you use your own API key, your data is also subject to that API provider's policy (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). - Data is retained for the duration of your account and as legally required after deletion.

There is no end-to-end encryption stated. There is no Australian data residency option.

Australian users should treat Janitor AI as a US-hosted service with standard US data practices. The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) does not compel this company to localise data for Australian users.
