The gate: Five stars need 21+ and Australian Fit of at least 4/5.

Pricing figures updated 6 September 2026: USD prices are converted at the current rate (1 USD ≈ 1.40 AUD, verified 5 September 2026) and shown ex-GST, replacing the retired 1.55 + GST basis. A GST-registered Australian business that supplies its ABN is not charged GST on an imported digital service; other buyers should allow ~10% on top (Methodology).

TL;DR — Verdict: Juro is one of the slickest contract platforms going. It pulls drafting, review, negotiation, e-signing and storage into a single browser window, and the AI genuinely cuts the grunt work out of redlining and contract search. The catch for Australians: pricing is quote-only and tends to land in the tens of thousands per year, and your contracts live on EU servers, not in Australia. Very Good for in-house legal and ops teams handling real contract volume. Overkill, and over-budget, for a sole trader or micro-business. Score: 18/25 — ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Good.

What it is

Juro is an AI-native contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform. In plain English: it's one place to create a contract, send it for review, negotiate the redlines, get it signed, and then store and search it afterwards — without bouncing between Word, email, a PDF e-signature tool and a shared drive.

It's a British company, founded in London in 2016 by a former Freshfields lawyer, and it's built for teams, not individuals. The intended user is an in-house legal team, or the sales, HR, finance and procurement people who generate contracts and currently wait on legal to turn them around. Juro's pitch is that it removes that bottleneck: business teams self-serve from templates legal controls, and the lawyers only get pulled in when something genuinely needs a lawyer.

The AI layer is the newer part of the story. Juro now markets an AI Assistant that drafts, reviews, summarises and redlines contracts, plus an "intelligent repository" you can question in plain English — "show me every contract that auto-renews in the next 90 days," that sort of thing — instead of opening files one by one.

What it costs in Australia (AUD + GST)

This is the honest part, and it's not pretty for budget planning. Juro does not publish pricing. There is no public price list, no self-serve sign-up, no AUD billing. Everything runs through a sales demo and a custom quote, priced on contract volume and integration complexity rather than a simple per-seat number.

What we can say, from third-party marketplace data rather than Juro's own site: typical annual deals reportedly run from around US$15,000 to US$120,000+ per year depending on volume, users and tier. Those figures come from resale and marketplace aggregators, not from Juro, so treat them as scale, not a quote. At the ~1.40 exchange rate that's roughly A$21,000 to A$168,000 per year, and as an overseas B2B service GST treatment will depend on your invoicing arrangement — most Australian businesses will account for it under the reverse-charge rules rather than seeing GST added to the invoice. Confirm the GST position with your accountant at quote stage, before you budget.

Some aggregators float indicative "starter" figures around US$25 per user per month (~A$35 ex-GST on our standard basis), but Juro itself prices by deal, not by published tier, so treat any per-seat number as a guess until you have a written quote.

The takeaway: this is enterprise-tier procurement, not a tool you trial on a credit card over a weekend. If you need a price before you commit calendar time to a sales call, Juro will frustrate you.

How it works / features

Juro runs entirely in the browser, and that's central to how it feels. Contracts are native web documents, not Word files passed around as attachments — which is what makes the live collaboration and AI features work smoothly.

The workflow, end to end:

  • Create. Legal builds templates with locked clauses and fill-in fields. Business teams then generate a contract from a template in a couple of clicks, or trigger one straight from Salesforce or HubSpot so the deal data flows in automatically. You can also import third-party paper into the same workflow.
  • Review and negotiate. Edits, comments and approvals happen in the document itself. The AI Assistant can review an incoming contract, summarise it, and suggest redlines against your positions — the kind of first pass a junior would otherwise spend an afternoon on.
  • Sign. Native e-signature is built in, so you don't need a separate DocuSign step (though Juro does integrate with DocuSign if you've standardised on it).
  • Manage. Signed contracts land in a searchable repository. The AI lets you query the whole contract estate in natural language and pull out renewal dates, values and obligations without manual tagging.

Integrations cover the tools most Australian SMBs already run: Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Word, Google Drive, Zapier, plus a REST API for anything custom.

The specifics that matter: Juro reports it has processed around 3 million contracts, holds a 4.8 rating on G2, and publishes a 99.9% uptime figure. Those are vendor-reported numbers we have not independently verified, but the G2 score in particular reflects a genuinely well-regarded product, not a vanity claim.

What it does well

The single-window workflow is the real win. The honest measure of a CLM isn't its feature list — it's whether a contract actually moves faster. Juro's browser-native model means a sales rep can generate, send, negotiate and get a contract signed without ever leaving one tab or emailing a single attachment. For a team currently stitching together Word, Outlook and a separate e-sign tool, that's a meaningful time saving on every deal.

The AI is aimed at the right jobs. Redline suggestions and contract summarisation are exactly where a busy in-house lawyer loses hours, and that's where Juro points its AI. The natural-language repository search is the standout — being able to ask "which contracts auto-renew before September" and get an answer in seconds is the sort of thing that prevents an expensive missed renewal.

It's genuinely usable by non-lawyers. The whole design philosophy is letting business teams self-serve safely inside guardrails legal sets. That's the right model for an Australian SMB where there often isn't a big legal function — the office manager or ops lead can run contracts without needing a law degree.

It looks and feels finished. This is a polished, mature product, not a startup MVP. The 4.8 G2 standing and a near-decade of development show.

Where it falls short

The pricing wall. No published pricing, no self-serve trial, and deal sizes that start in the tens of thousands of dollars. For the 35-year-old Melbourne business owner this publication writes for, that's a hard stop unless contracts are a core, high-volume part of the business. You can't even sanity-check whether it's in budget without booking a sales call.

It's built for volume, not the occasional contract. If you sign a handful of agreements a month, you will not get value from a platform priced and designed for hundreds. The ROI maths only works once contract throughput is high enough that the time saved justifies a five-figure annual spend.

No Australian data residency. Juro hosts customer data on AWS in the EU (Ireland region), per third-party summaries of its data processing terms — confirm the hosting region against the current DPA at quote stage. For many Australian businesses that's fine, but if you're in a regulated sector, or you've committed clients to onshore data handling, EU hosting is a question you'll need answered in writing before you sign.

Sub-processor sprawl. Juro's stack includes AWS, MongoDB, Algolia, Stripe and several analytics tools (Mixpanel, Heap, Hotjar and others), per Juro's published sub-processor list. That's normal for a SaaS product, but it's a longer list to put past your own privacy and procurement review than a leaner tool.

Australian fit

This is where Juro scores honestly rather than generously.

Data residency: Customer data sits on AWS in the EU (Ireland), not in Australia — again, confirm against the live DPA before you sign. There's no Australian data-region option advertised. For Privacy Act purposes that means an overseas disclosure your APP 8 assessment has to cover. It's workable, but it's not onshore, and it's not nothing.

Billing: Quote-only, in USD/GBP, with no AUD invoicing and no published AUD pricing. GST will most likely fall under reverse-charge rules for the AU buyer rather than appearing on the invoice — confirm with your accountant.

AU presence and support: Juro is London-headquartered with no Australian office or AU-local support hours that we can confirm. Support is likely UK/EU-timezone-led, which means a lag for Australian business hours. Confirm support SLAs and coverage at the quote stage.

Verdict on fit: A capable global product that Australian teams can absolutely use — but USD billing, EU data residency and offshore support put it squarely in the "global tool, not Australian-built" bracket. Australian Fit lands at a fair, mid-range 3/5.

Score

Criterion Score Why
Value for Money 3/5 Strong product, but quote-only pricing starting in the tens of thousands rules out smaller buyers and makes budgeting hard.
Ease of Use 5/5 Browser-native, genuinely usable by non-lawyers, polished workflow. A real strength.
Feature Depth 5/5 Full lifecycle — draft, review, negotiate, e-sign, manage — plus capable AI redlining and natural-language search.
Australian Fit 3/5 EU data residency, USD/GBP quote-only billing, no AU office. Usable, but not local.
Reliability & Support 2/5 Strong product reputation and uptime claims, but UK/EU support hours and unverified AU coverage.
Total 18/25 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Good

Australian Fit is 3/5, so under our methodology Juro cannot be named a category Top Pick or wear five stars — both gates require Australian Fit of at least 4. The 18/25 total is real; the cap reflects that a tool has to serve Australians well to top the list. (See our Methodology.)

Bottom line

If you run an in-house legal or operations team handling real contract volume — dozens of agreements a month, multiple people touching them, deals flowing from Salesforce or HubSpot — Juro is a serious, well-built option that will pay back the time it saves. Get a written quote, confirm the EU data residency is acceptable for your clients, and pressure-test support coverage for Australian hours.

If you're a sole trader, consultant or micro-business signing the odd contract, Juro is the wrong tool. The pricing and the volume-first design are aimed well above you. A simpler e-signature tool plus good templates will do the job for a fraction of the cost.

If onshore data residency is a hard requirement — regulated sector, government-adjacent work, or clients who've been promised Australian data handling — Juro's EU hosting is a genuine blocker. Resolve it in writing before you go further, or look for a platform with an Australian data region.

This review assesses Juro as a software product. It is not legal advice and does not replace a qualified Australian legal practitioner. Any contract platform is a tool to support legal work, not a substitute for it — have a lawyer review your templates and high-value agreements.

Update history
  • 9 Oct 2026 — Re-checked for the AUD-claim queue (#410), juro.com/pricing read in a browser on an Australian connection: still quote-only — the page asks how many contracts you process a month and builds a custom package, with no plan names, no published price and no trial. One new detail: Juro now says it "can quote you an equivalent amount in USD, GBP, or EUR", so the currency finding above (USD/GBP, no AUD) stands with euros added to the list. aud_native: false stands. Frequently asked questions

Is Juro available in Australia?

Yes — Australian teams can use it — but it's a London-headquartered company with no Australian office or confirmed AU-local support hours. Expect UK/EU-timezone support, which means a lag for Australian business hours.

Does Juro charge in AUD?

No. Pricing is quote-only in USD/GBP with no AUD invoicing or published AUD price. As an overseas B2B service, GST will most likely fall under reverse-charge rules rather than appearing on the invoice — confirm with your accountant.

Is there a free plan or free trial?

No. There's no public price list, no self-serve sign-up and no free trial. Everything runs through a sales demo and a custom quote, with deals reportedly running from tens of thousands of dollars a year.

Where is my contract data stored?

On AWS in the EU (Ireland region), not in Australia, with no AU data-region option advertised. For Privacy Act purposes that's an overseas disclosure your APP 8 assessment must cover — confirm against the live DPA before you sign.

Is Juro worth it for a small business?

Only if contracts are high-volume and core to what you do. For a sole trader or micro-business signing the odd agreement, Juro is the wrong tool — a simpler e-signature tool plus good templates will do the job for a fraction of the cost.
