- Description: Salesloft is enterprise-grade sales engagement with impressive AI. For Australian small businesses, the minimum seat requirements, opaque pricing, and offshore data hosting mean it's a tool that works around you — not for you.

**The gate:** Five stars need 21+ and Australian Fit of at least 4/5.

*Pricing figures updated 6 September 2026: USD prices are converted at the current rate (1 USD ≈ 1.40 AUD, verified 5 September 2026) and shown ex-GST, replacing the retired 1.55 + GST basis. A GST-registered Australian business that supplies its ABN is not charged GST on an imported digital service; other buyers should allow \~10% on top (*[*Methodology*](https://www.theaidirectory.com.au/methodology/)*).*

> **The verdict:** Salesloft is a genuinely capable sales engagement platform. Its AI prioritisation engine, Conductor AI, is well-designed; the conversation intelligence tools are useful; and the deal management and forecasting depth is real. But everything else makes it a poor fit for most Australian businesses. Pricing is quote-only, billed in USD, with no published tiers and an undisclosed minimum seat count. Customer data is hosted in the US and EU — not Australia. GST treatment is unconfirmed. And since merging with Clari in December 2025, the company is mid-consolidation, which introduces product uncertainty at exactly the wrong moment. If you run a ten-person sales team in Melbourne and want to trial before you commit, you cannot — there is no free tier and no self-serve trial. Score: 13/25 — Good.

## What it is

Salesloft is a sales engagement and revenue intelligence platform headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. It was founded in 2011 and has grown into one of the dominant enterprise sales tools globally, competing with Outreach, Apollo, and HubSpot Sales Hub.

In December 2025, Salesloft completed a merger with Clari — a revenue forecasting and pipeline intelligence platform. The combined entity is building what they call a "Predictive Revenue System," with Steve Cox appointed CEO of the merged organisation. The company serves over 5,000 organisations globally, including Adobe, IBM, Zoom, and Shopify.

At its core, Salesloft automates and orchestrates the outbound sales process: cadences (sequenced outreach), conversation intelligence (call recording and AI coaching), deal management, and revenue forecasting. Its differentiating technology is **Conductor AI**, a proprietary engine embedded across the platform that ranks and prioritises seller actions in real time based on buyer signals.

For Australian businesses, this is a sophisticated, well-resourced platform — with a pricing model and infrastructure designed firmly for enterprise buyers in the Northern Hemisphere.

## What it costs in Australia (AUD + GST)

Salesloft does not publish pricing. All quotes are custom, negotiated annually, and billed in USD. The figures below are drawn from third-party procurement data and market analysis — treat them as indicative ranges, not confirmed list prices.

| Plan | Estimated USD/user/month | Approx AUD/user/month | Notes |
| ------------- | ------------------------ | --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Essentials | US$75–100 | \~A$105–140 | Core Cadence, email/call sequencing, CRM sync |
| Advanced | US$125–150 | \~A$175–210 | Adds Conversations (call recording, AI coaching), Rhythm AI, advanced analytics |
| Premier | US$165–200+ | \~A$231–280+ | Adds Deals, Forecast, premium support, expanded API |
| Dialer add-on | US$25–40/user/month | \~A$35–56/user/month | Not included in any base plan |

**Billing currency:** USD only. Contracts are governed by California law. We could find no AUD billing option on any Salesloft page, and none was confirmed in third-party procurement data.

**GST treatment:** The Salesloft Master Services Agreement (Section 4.4) states that customers are responsible for all applicable taxes, and that "Salesloft will invoice Customer for sales tax when required to do so." A name search of the Australian Business Register on 20 June 2026 returned no ABN or GST registration for Salesloft, so we cannot confirm whether it is registered with the ATO and remits Australian GST. Treat GST as an open question, and budget for 10% on top of the USD amount if your accountant applies the standard treatment for imported digital services from unregistered overseas suppliers.

**No free tier. No self-serve trial.** Evaluation requires a sales conversation. Contracts are annual and non-cancellable.

**Minimum seat count:** Third-party sources indicate a minimum of roughly 3–15 seats depending on tier and region, but Salesloft does not publish this figure, so treat it as indicative only.

**After negotiation:** Mid-market buyers with 25+ seats typically land at US$100–130/user/month (\~A$140–182) after negotiation. Annual price escalation clauses of 5–8% are standard.

AUD conversions use an exchange rate of approximately 1.40 (September 2026).

## How it works / features

Salesloft organises its platform into five product areas:

**Cadence** — the sequencing engine. You build multi-step outreach workflows combining email, phone calls, LinkedIn tasks, and SMS. The system automates execution and tracks engagement at each step. It is the foundation of the platform and the most mature module.

**Conversations** — call recording, transcription, and AI coaching. Managers can search recordings by keyword, flag coaching moments, and surface patterns across the team. AI-generated summaries and action items are produced after each call.

**Rhythm (powered by Conductor AI)** — the platform's core AI differentiator. Conductor AI analyses buyer signals — email opens, website visits, intent data from third-party integrations — and surfaces a real-time prioritised task list for each seller. When a prospect opens an email for the third time, Salesloft surfaces a call task immediately. The system learns which actions drive outcomes and re-ranks accordingly. Salesloft reports that sellers who adopted Rhythm completed 39% more tasks per day (its own October 2023 results announcement) — a vendor figure, so read it as a marketing claim rather than an independently audited one.

**Deals** — opportunity management overlaid on your CRM. Flag at-risk deals, track stage progression, identify missing contacts in a buying group. Requires Premier tier or above.

**Forecast** — revenue prediction combining CRM data, rep input, and AI modelling. This module was the core of Clari's product pre-merger, and the two products are being consolidated into a unified forecasting capability. The roadmap for this integration is not yet finalised.

**Integrations:** Salesloft connects with Salesforce (its primary CRM integration), HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, and 180+ third-party tools via an integrations marketplace, including Highspot, 6sense, DocuSign, and most major dialers and conferencing tools.

## What it does well

**The AI prioritisation is genuinely useful.** Conductor AI does not just fire sequences on a timer — it responds to buyer behaviour. A prospect re-engaging with content triggers a relevant follow-up task. This is the kind of signal-to-action capability that previously required dedicated sales operations staff to implement manually.

**Conversation intelligence at scale.** For sales managers, the ability to search call recordings by keyword, surface coaching moments, and track which talk tracks correlate with closed deals is valuable. It replaces the Monday morning call review with something systematic.

**Deep CRM integration.** The Salesforce sync is the most mature in the category. Activity data, contact records, and opportunity stages stay in sync. For teams running Salesforce as their system of record, Salesloft reduces double-handling.

**Enterprise-grade security.** SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701 certifications are annually renewed. Encryption at rest (AES-256-GCM) and in transit (TLS 1.2+) is standard. The Trust Portal provides documentation for enterprise procurement teams.

**Global APAC presence.** Salesloft opened a Singapore office in 2022 to serve the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand, and broader Asian markets. This means APAC customers have a regional point of contact rather than routing everything through Atlanta.

## Where it falls short

**The pricing model is deliberately opaque.** There are no published prices, no online calculator, and no self-serve signup. You cannot evaluate cost without a sales conversation, and you cannot trial the product without a commercial arrangement. For a busy Melbourne small-business owner, this is a significant friction point. It also signals that Salesloft is not designed for SMBs — it is designed for buyers who have procurement departments.

**No free trial, ever.** Every competitor in this category — Apollo, HubSpot, even some Outreach tiers — offers some form of self-serve access. Salesloft does not. You are committing to a non-cancellable annual contract before you have seen whether it works for your team.

**Merger uncertainty is real.** The Clari–Salesloft merger closed in December 2025\. The combined company's product roadmap is still being finalised. The pricing structure for bundled products is not published. Customers entering contracts in mid-2026 are signing into a platform that may look meaningfully different in 18 months. This is not speculation — the company's own public statements acknowledge the integration is ongoing.

**Complex onboarding cost.** Third-party implementation estimates put professional services at US$5,000–25,000 (\~A$7,000–35,000) on top of licence fees. Add internal time to configure CRM integrations, build cadences, and train the team. The total first-year cost for a 10-seat team could easily exceed A$75,000.

**Some user-reported friction, though we can't independently verify it.** Across third-party review sites (Capterra, G2, Trustpilot), some users mention Salesforce integration lag, email formatting quirks, and occasional slowdowns when working large prospect lists. We have not been able to confirm how widespread or current these issues are from primary sources, so we treat them as anecdotal rather than a verified reliability problem — useful to probe in a trial, not a basis on which to mark the tool down.

**Annual price escalation built into contracts.** Standard clauses include 5–8% annual increases. On a 3-year deal, you can pay materially more in year three than you agreed to in year one.

## Australian fit

This section is where the honest accounting happens.

**Billing currency:** USD only. No AUD billing option could be confirmed on any Salesloft page. Australian businesses absorb exchange rate risk on every renewal.

**GST:** An open question. The MSA (Section 4.4) places tax responsibility on the customer and states Salesloft will invoice for sales tax "when required to do so," but a 20 June 2026 Australian Business Register search returned no ABN or GST registration for Salesloft. This is a compliance question your accountant needs to resolve before signing.

**Data residency:** Salesloft hosts customer data on AWS and GCP in **US and EU data centres only**. There is no Australian data region. No APAC data centre. All customer data — including email content, call recordings, and CRM-synced contact data — is processed and stored offshore, primarily in the United States.

For Australian businesses subject to the Privacy Act 1988, this creates an obligation to understand and disclose offshore data processing to affected individuals. It does not make Salesloft illegal to use, but it does require due diligence. For businesses in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government), this may be a hard stop.

**AU support:** Salesloft's Singapore office covers the APAC region including Australia. There is no dedicated Australian office. Salesloft does not publish its support coverage hours for the region, so check your specific contract terms for SLA coverage before signing.

**AU-aware outputs:** The platform does not natively localise for Australia. Email templates, cadence frameworks, and AI coaching are built on North American sales practices. This is not a dealbreaker — the tools are adaptable — but there is no built-in understanding of AU market context, timezone optimisation for AEST, or AU compliance considerations in the email sending tools.

**AUD pricing:** Not available. Salesloft publishes no list pricing in any currency, and no AUD billing option could be confirmed.

The Australian Fit score for Salesloft is 2/5\. There is genuine APAC presence via Singapore, and the platform is technically accessible to Australian businesses. But offshore data hosting, USD-only billing, unconfirmed GST handling, and zero AUD pricing add up to a tool that treats Australia as a secondary market.

| Value for Money | 2/5 | Enterprise-only pricing, no free tier, non-cancellable annual contracts, high implementation costs, and opaque quote-only model. Poor value for any business under \~30 seats. |
| Ease of Use | 3/5 | Once configured by a RevOps team, day-to-day seller use is well-designed. But getting there requires significant setup. Not self-service for a small business. |
| Feature Depth | 4/5 | Cadence automation, Conductor AI, Conversations, Deals, Forecast — this is a comprehensive revenue platform. | Reliability & Support | 2/5 | SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 are solid. But there is no dedicated AU office, APAC support hours are not published, and post-merger uncertainty (Clari integration ongoing) clouds support and roadmap continuity. Some third-party user reports of integration lag are unverified and not scored against. |

★★★ Good (raw score 13/25)

**Australian Fit gate:** Salesloft scores 2/5 on Australian Fit — below the 4/5 a tool needs for ★★★★★ Excellent or a category Top Pick, so it could never be crowned for an Australian audience. But the gate only removes the *top* star; it never lowers a tool below its scored band. At 13/25, Salesloft sits in the three-star **Good** band on the maths. See [our methodology](https://www.theaidirectory.com.au/methodology/).

## Bottom line

**If you run a 20+ person enterprise or mid-market sales team** with a dedicated RevOps function, a Salesforce CRM investment, and a budget for a five-figure annual software commitment — Salesloft is one of the two or three most capable platforms in the market. The AI prioritisation in Conductor AI is genuinely useful, the conversation intelligence is real, and the depth of the deal and forecasting layer (especially post-Clari merger) puts it ahead of most competitors on features alone.

**If you are an Australian small business** — under 15 sales reps, no dedicated RevOps, budget-conscious — Salesloft is the wrong tool. You cannot trial it, cannot see the price without a sales conversation, will be billed in USD, and your customer data will be stored in the United States. Look at HubSpot Sales Hub (has a free tier, AUD billing, transparent pricing), Apollo.io (self-serve, cheaper, solid cadence tools), or Pipedrive (simple, AU-friendly, affordable). Any of these will get you 80% of the value at 20% of the cost and complexity.

**If you are in a regulated industry** (financial services, healthcare, aged care, government) — the offshore data hosting is a compliance conversation you must have with your legal team before signing. Salesloft does not offer an AU data region.

**If you are evaluating Salesloft in mid-2026 specifically** — note that you are signing into a company mid-merger. The Clari integration is ongoing, the combined product roadmap is not finalised, and pricing for bundled products is not published. Ask for explicit contractual protections around product continuity before signing a multi-year deal.

Update history
- **1 Oct 2026** — Salesloft's pricing link now goes straight to a "talk to sales" booking page from Australia, so there is still no published price; the ranges above remain third-party estimates. No claims re-verified.
- **20 Jun 2026** — First reviewed.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is Salesloft available in Australia?

Yes, technically. The platform is accessible to Australian businesses, and Salesloft opened a Singapore office in 2022 to serve APAC including Australia. But there's no dedicated Australian office, and support coverage hours for the region aren't published.

### Does Salesloft charge in AUD?

No. Billing is USD only, with no published prices and no AUD option we could confirm. Contracts are governed by California law. Indicative third-party estimates put it at roughly A$105–310+ per user/month depending on tier, plus a dialer add-on.

### Is there a free plan or free trial?

No — and that's a real friction point. There's no free tier and no self-serve trial. Evaluation requires a sales conversation, and contracts are annual and non-cancellable. Every major competitor offers some self-serve access; Salesloft doesn't.

### Does Salesloft store data in Australia?

No. Customer data — email content, call recordings, CRM-synced contacts — is hosted on AWS and GCP in US and EU data centres only, with no Australian region. For businesses subject to the Privacy Act 1988 that's a due-diligence obligation; for regulated industries it may be a hard stop.

### Who is Salesloft best for?

Enterprise and mid-market sales teams of 20+ with a dedicated RevOps function, a Salesforce investment and a five-figure software budget. Australian small businesses should look at HubSpot Sales Hub, Apollo.io or Pipedrive — all cheaper, self-serve and AU-friendlier.
